Christmas in October?

The other day I posted about the 32 Gigabyte Flash Memory USB Drive from Kanguru and how I’d love to have one but not at the $1,499.99 USD price tag.

Well I just finished catching up on my business email and came across a message from one of my distributors saying they’ll be sending me one of the Kanguru 32 GB Flash Drives free of charge for me to test and review!

Good grief!!! I get to play with a $1,500.00 toy. w00t!

But wait, there’s more… the email says after my testing and review, I get to keep the drive. There is a legal document I need to sign, etc. but so far it seems like an easy process to get this thing into my hot hands.

Of course I’ll be posting my full review of this cool technology marvel soon as possible or when my official review is published. It will depend on the contract terms. Yay contracts.

Hey Jackosh. There will be no killing tonight my friend :)

Thanks for the congrats. Once I receive the 32 GB drive, I’d be happy to donate my 2 GB drive to you.

A section partioned for a complete Ubuntu install…
    Portable App Suites…
    Digital Photos…
    And lastly, documents…

If only I could get that thing!

    Hi Jake.

I’ve been pretty happy with my 2 GB flash drive using portable applications but with 32 GB, multiple partitions like you suggest with a view different Operating Systems would totally rock.

I’ll be sure to try your suggestions once I have it in hand.

Thanks for the suggestions and comment.

    Wow! That’s some memory stick!

Assuming the specs are right it would be difficult to find something bad to say.

Hey if you need a second opinion… ;-)

Agreed Ainslie. It’s one monster of a flash drive.

The specs are pretty impressive. I’ll know more next week as I faxed over the paperwork today and they emailed back saying I’d have the drive early next week.

Hi Jake. Thanks for the link.

Indeed, twice as large and probably twice the price :)
