You forgot to buy Vista.
How could I forget the wonderful windows vista?
The 500w PSU is a little overkill for the components but of course would not hurt it
You could most likely know a fair bit more off the price or beef it up more.
What he should look into it Overclocking that E2140 for even more performance!
I currently run one in my Media PC at 2.6ghz which runs 24/7.
In fact my MediaPC is a very similar spec and cost under £260
I’m not sure what the exchange rate for £ to $ but that looks like a decent budget rig for that price range.
Personally I’d stay away from Vista though, and go with something more stable and less taxing on your system like XP or Server 2003.
I agree with using XP or server instead of Vista.
Vista uses around 1gig of ram just to sit idle.
I know Vista does have other advantages but I don’t think it’s worth it yet, maybe if they release another service pack that might do the trick.
