The thing is, when we’re done gaming we can close the game and surf the web, watch movies, do email, and everything else you can do on a computer. I can pick up my gaming system and go sit on my couch or anywhere in my house and surf the web.

The point being, you get a lot more than just the ability to play games when you buy a PC. When you get a gaming PC you also have a super fast computer that launches applications and handles multi-tasking far better than regular PCs.

Just sayin.

Yeah because spending $5k on a laptop versus $500 & less on a console makes so much sense. And needless to say you are not going to get the consistent game-oriented frame rates (esp at 1080p) as you would on a PS3.

It’s your money though, do whatever you want.
