Attack of The McDonald’s Fries and Ketchup Packet

Have you ever seen the movie Attack of the Killer Tomatoes? It’s a 1978 classic with a great plot outline:

A group of scientists band together to save the world from mutated tomatoes that KILL!

Dun, Dun, DUN!!!

Can you imagine if someone created a similar movie but instead of tomatoes, it was McDonald’s French Fries and Ketchup Packets attacking like this:

McDonald's Fries and Ketchup Packet

That would be so cool. I can see it now, the next big low-budget/cult/parody flick of our time!

Anyone want to join me in making this soon-to-be cult classic?

It would be easy to put together. Sort of like Claymation.

Anyone? Bueller?

How does the fry-monster hold itself together? Claymation still takes hours and hours of work and a good camera to pull off well. You will need about a dozen fry-monsters, and 4 dozen ketchup monsters, and someplace with a large miniature setup or large model train set to shoot it in. Anything that goes bad will need to be lacquered or clear-coated in order to last as long as you will need it to. It is doable, but just like anything worthwhile, it will take time and effort.

    Hi Jason.

The fry-monster is held together with magic :)

Now that I think about it, yes it would be really hard to do with real french fries, however, if we build one of each monster, we could digitize or even create the monsters in flash, then do the movie.

    Thoughts?

If you made flash versions of the monsters, it could work. I don’t know too much about flash, the last version I used is MX. It could be a great deal of fun.
