Having a crappy OS hasn't stopped SonyEricsson from sending their flagship phone out to customers. (personal experience here...)

Maybe that is one of the reasons why apple has never taken off commercially - Steve Jobs doesn't allow crap to be put into the world?

(And, as Doug said: very nice Theme, indeed)

I completely agree with you Doug. If they cut the team in half or just had a team of maybe 5-10 max of top developers, it would already be done.

50 developers may be the reason why they are worried about being late - but for the wrong reason. 50 developers are incredibly difficult to manage and reliably bring together to complete a project. I have about half that at my disposal and most of the rework is simply from miscommunication of requirements.

They could probably cut that staff in half and get done faster!
