Angry Birds Space Finally Released, Download It Now On Your Device

March has proved to be a pretty exciting month. Apart from the anxiously awaited release of Apple’s new tablet, ardent portable gaming enthusiasts were anxiously awaiting the release of Angry Birds Space. Today, Rovio has finally released Angry Birds Space. This game can now be downloaded for your particular mobile platform, be it iOS or Android.

Rovio has had immense success with all Angry Birds games. This first version was launched particularly for the iPhone. Since then, it has become such a huge hit that now Angry Birds is available for a variety of platforms, which include but are not limited to desktops, iOS and Android platforms as well as social networks, Facebook to be precise.

Angry Birds Space is the fifth addition to the Angry Birds franchise. The franchise currently consists of four games, namely Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds RIO and the free trial version called Angry Birds Lite. All of these games have been downloaded millions of times by people all around the world. A couple of months back, Rovio revealed that Angry Birds had been downloaded over 200 million times. One can only guess what the figure must be right now.

So, coming back to Angry Birds Space. This latest Angry Birds game is exciting to say the least. The story tells us that the birds find out their eggs have been stolen by a claw. The birds chase this claw and fall in to a wormhole which brings them to an entirely new galaxy, which is inhabited by space pigs with strange new powers. In space, the birds have super powers as well. The player must guide these Angry Birds through 60 interstellar levels on planets as well as in zero gravity, so that the eggs are finally recovered.

I am writing this post after having played Angry Birds Space HD on my iPad. I must say that Rovio has made a fantastic game.
