An Entire Book Written on a Nokia Mobile Phone

Apparently author Roberto Bernocco wrote an entire 384 page novel using only his Nokia 6630 cell phone.

In case you’re not familiar with that Nokia model, it doesn’t have a QWERTY keyboard.

He used T9 (which stands for “Text on 9 keys”) to write the entire thing, which took him just 17 weeks to complete.

The book, Compagni di viaggio, which translates to “Fellow Travelers” in English, was recently published thanks to Lulu.com, a cool website where anyone can publish their own books for print.

Now if I could only read Italian…

So how much would it cost to send that SMS?

    Hi Luke.

To calculate that, I’d need to know how many words were in the book.

However, it’s safe to say it would be cheaper to just buy his book then to send/receive it via SMS :)
