Apparently no one appreciates prostitutes enough!
Amsterdam will be the first place to let them know we appreciate their hard work.
Yes, for those of you wondering, this is a serious post. LOL.
Amsterdam’s red-light district will soon get a new attraction: a statue to honor prostitutes around the world.
The statue, designed by artist Els Rijerse, will likely be unveiled at the end of March, Dutch news agency ANP reported.
Mariska Majoor, a former prostitute who commissioned the statue, told ANP:
In many countries, prostitutes struggle and people have no respect for them whatsoever. The statue is meant to give all those men and women strength.
According to the ANP news report the statue, made of bronze, shows a woman who confidently looks out into the world.
This statue will be very interesting to see once it’s completed.

Looks like you got inspired by Doug’s recent blog
Wow thats one news. Seriously i will be waiting for that too. Hope u keep track of it.
I LOVE THIS!
You may not think anything of it, but how brave of you to post this. People are so unaccepting of woman and men in these fields of work.
About a year ago, I stripped at a club for a few days, got a feel for it, and I freaking enjoyed it! and I will speak up if anyone says anything bad about those people.
Kudos to you!
