The latest and it has to be said smartest looking ultrabook from Lenovo has popped up on Amazon with a $1,200 price tag! these light yet powerful machines are supposed to add a little excitement to the laptop market and to be honest that is exactly what the IdeaPad U300s does, it fits into this category of laptop very nicely and certainly sets the standards for other computer manufacturers to follow.

There is 4 GB of DDR3 memory and because it is a ultrabook, it has a space saving 128 GB RapidDrive of solid state drive (SSD) storage. Its networking comes from the Bluetooth 3.0 and high speed 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi features, while connectivity comes from standard USB 2.0 & the much faster USB 3.0 ports.

Lenovo RapidCharge brings battery charge to 50 percent in 30 minutes; full battery will last up to eight hours running the Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. The dimensions of this aluminium cased laptop are 8.5 inches x 0.6 inches x 12.8 inches and this machine weighs in at just 2.9 pounds.

The price of the Lenovo IdeaPad U300s starts at a shade under $1,200 on Amazon, but for the buyer looking for the high end i7 processor there is a steep increase in price that can take to just under $1,600, which may sound a lot but this price compares with the MacBook Air sporting similar specs.
