Albert Einstein

I’ve always liked reading about Albert Einstein. He was wacky to most but also really ahead of his time.

Some even say he was from another planet… dun dun DUN!!! and others say he was just a crazy mad scientist. My thoughts? He was just someone who thought outside the box. We need more Einstein’s in the World. Don’t you agree?

Not only do I like reading about Albert Einstein, I also like doing searches for random quotes from him.

Tonight I found this brain teaser:

“Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts.”

According to the information I found, this quote was taken from a sign hanging in Einstein’s office at Princeton. That’s pretty cool.

If I could go back in time, he is definately someone I’d like to meet.

Check out http://www.mhs.ox.ac.uk/blackboard/ – ’tis an online exhibition from the Museum of History of Science, which has a blackboard Einstein wrote on (with his chalkmarks still on it) when he visited Oxford in 1931. The museum held an exhibition last year based around the centenary of Einstein’s ‘Year of Miracles’ in 1906, and got assorted individuals to write on/create blackboards roughly the same size as Einstein’s one. Enjoy!
