Acer Show off the Aspire 3951 Ultrabook
First of all an ultrabook is an interesting concept, these are thin and light laptops that usually come with a price tag that is under the $1,000 barrier, so to us this is a very interesting concept indeed!
There are a few ultraboooks on the market already such as the nice looking Asus UX21, but this Aspire 3951 is the ultrabook from Acer and even though there will be some comparisons made about this looking similar to the Apple MacBook Air, this is a standalone laptop that offers the consumer what they want, design, features and value.
As you would expect from a laptop that is not ready to be released yet, the specs are a little thin on the ground, but what we do know about the Aspire 3951 is that it will come with a 13.3 inch display and it will have a built in high definition web camera. it will be powered by a second generation Intel Core processor and have a choice from the 160 GB SSD or possibly higher and there is a choice of either a 250 GB or the more popular 500 GB hard drives.
This laptop is supposed to have a six hour battery life, but as we know this depends on what is going on in background and is does offer with a nice thirty day on standby time why you would want that is anyone’s guess!
Other features include a two into one card reader, Wi-Fi, top of the range Bluetooth 4.0 and the essential HDMI port, what laptop owner would go for anything without this!
The Aspire 3951 will have a beautifully styled aluminium body that weighs in at 3.09 lbs and finally with an October release on the cards the current estimated price is that it will start at $769 rise up to around $961.
