Acer Launch New 15.6″ Aspire

There is yet another Acer on the way; it is the Aspire AS5750-A78D / K notebook a 15.6 inch laptop with an Intel Core i7-2670QM processor and Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics! Now that all sounds good, but there is a downside to this launch and that is, this machine is being launched in Japan, yet another new machine turns up on the Japanese market with no real word from Acer if or even when the Acer Aspire AS5750-A78D / K is likely to turn up in European and US stores. However, just in case it does, let us take a closer look at what this laptop can offer the consumer.

The new Aspire has a 15.6 inch Active Matrix TFT Colour LCD WXGA LED display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolution and a built-in web camera with microphone. It is powered by the high end 2.20 GHz Intel Core i7-2670QM processor with 3 MB Cache and has an Nvidia GeForce GT 540M 1 GB graphics card for quality graphics and video. There is 6 GB of standard memory but can be upgraded to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM and it has a useful 500 GB of Serial ATA hard disk drive (HDD) for storage.

Other features include Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n connectivity and a Gigabit Ethernet LAN. As well as a DVD Super Multi Drive, Dual memory card slots, an HDMI port for external connection to other monitors, three fast USB 3.0 ports, two standard USB 2.0 ports, VGA port and finally there is a network (RJ-45) Memory card reader too! The 6 cell Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) 4400 mAh battery according to Acer will provide up to 4.5 hours of power and it is running the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

This Aspire AS5750-A78D / K will go on sale from tomorrow (Nov 9th) in Japan for around $1,150
