I returned it to Acer who charged me £41 for the advice that "it would cost so much to repair that it would be best if I just bought a new laptop". Thanks very much. I'd never touch one again and was robbed by a big company that cannot deal with an individual case. I can even overlook the poor battery life... What I can't ignore is the poor heat dissipation. You can't use it on your lap unless you want 3rd degree burns and the fan always makes such a racket that's it's audible to people on the other side of the phone, which means it's crap when you're on skipe.
