In fact it has locked me out from booting and will not allow me access to the SATA drive even if removed from the machine. I would like to remove/erase Vista and, having cleaned out the drive, install XP instead. However I cannot, as yet, find a driver for the motherboard to mount the drive at bootup time. Can anyone tell me where to find such a driver that could be loaded on to a floppy? Please ! Trying to find my way round the ASUS maze is bewildering and, so far, fruitless.
