A 15.6 inch Gateway for just $350

Normally you would not be able to mention $350, new laptop and a host of features all together, but it seems that Gateway have managed to work this out and present it as the new NV55C53u. This is a laptop with a 15.3 inch display, Intel dual core processor and high definition graphics too, all for around $350 from certain retailers, naturally this could increase if tempted by options and upgrades, but never the less, $350 is a nice starting price.

It comes with a nice sized 15.6 inch LED LCD high definition wide screen display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolution with a built in 1.3 mega pixel high definition web camera. This laptop will be powered by an Intel Pentium dual core processor P6100, which features a 3 MB L3 cache and 2.0 GHz processor speed, while the graphics are coming from the Intel HD graphics card that features 128 MB dedicated video memory and it supports the Microsoft DirectX 10.

The Gateway has 3 GB of DDR3 memory and it comes with a 320 GB Serial (5400 rpm) ATA hard disk drive (HDD). Connectivity comes from a 2 in 1 digital media reader and 3 high speed USB 2.0 ports, while networking is brought in by the Built in wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n) and the 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN. The machine weighs in at 5.7 lbs. and is just 1.3 inches thick, which does not leave much room for all of that internal hardware, but Gateway has done a good job. This laptop will be running the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64 bit operating system.

Priced at just $350 at some online retailers, the buy may need to shop around to get the best buy, but to save some extra cash it is not that much of a hardship!
