Hey LobsterMan.

Indeed it's a lot of space but I remember when the computer sales people said that I'd never need more then a 20 MB hard drive and now I have a server with two 300 GB drives and a laptop with 100 GB.

I assume iPod's will keep climbing in size for obvious reasons.

WOW,
I Have no practical use for something like that, my 254 mb is more than enough for moving files around here and there. But it's amazing to se how technology is developing, if an iPod nano had 32GB, now that would be a different story...

Hi Andy. Thanks for stopping by and giving your thoughts on the $1,499.99 USD flash drive.

I think most insurance companies would gringe having to insure something so small but worth so much.

For now, I'm happy with my 2 GB flash drive. The price was right at $110.00 USD but I'd still like to have a 32 GB... in a years time I'm sure they will come way down in price.

Yes, the cost is huge when you consider the risk of loss or theft when dealing with such a small item - but then, iPods and the like are getting smaller, thinner and more discreet. I suppose the thing to bear in mind when people buy these things is always to check with their insurers that the item in question is covered!
