That’s not quite right either. Neurons need blood to function, and the blood vessels in the brain can only pump a certain amount of blood. Enough blood to let about 10% of the neurons in a brain function at any given time. So try as you might, all you’ll do is reallocate some of that 10%.

The Brain like a computer one is completely wrong by 2050 the human race will be outdated basically because of supercomputers. By 2013, there will be a supercomputer that will be able to function faster than the human brain. Computer or AI is advancing ridiculously fast and yes we create these machines but they will be able to outperform us in the near future.

Having a B.S. in Health Sciences and pre-med and being a candidate for medical school at the time, these all sound pretty scientifically sound to me. Some references would be great though.

I believe the expected date of completion is sometime early next decade.

I know I speak for myself when I express my excitement.

Our physical bodies are the metaphorical bottle-neck of our species. We do not need them to continue being human. In fact, you do not have a single origional cell in your body from the time you were born.

I saw some crazy looking hippie scientist there other day on you tube. He said every time a person dies, a library of information disappears forever; all the experiences, all the knowledge, every thing that person did not already teach to another person is gone.

Great list. Although I think there is a difference between clinical depression brought on by so called “chemical imbalance” and clinical depression brought about from poor health, bad living, drug use etc. If it is based on a true inherent chemical issue in the brain then you are absolutely right. However, you think your way out of depression!! Trust me they were the worst six years of my life.
